Frequently Asked Questions

Most yoga events teach yoga.

We invite you to live it.

At the International Yoga Festival Vrindavan, your experience doesn’t end when a class finishes. It continues as you wander through ancient temple streets, share conversations over chai, celebrate Holi with new friends, listen to devotional music under the evening sky, and discover the living traditions that have shaped this sacred town for centuries.

This isn’t a retreat where you step away from the world.

It’s an invitation to step into a vibrant culture where yoga, community, and everyday life naturally come together.

You’ll return home with more than new techniques—you’ll carry new perspectives, meaningful friendships, and memories that continue to inspire long after the festival ends.

Yes. Vrindavan is a popular destination for pilgrims and travellers from across India and around the world. During the festival, our team will be available to assist participants, and we recommend staying in our partner accommodations for added convenience and peace of mind. As with any destination, we encourage visitors to take normal travel precautions.

Absolutely. The festival welcomes participants of all experience levels: from complete beginners to experienced practitioners and yoga teachers. Sessions are designed to be inclusive, and many workshops offer variations to suit different abilities.

Most sessions will be conducted in English or Hindi, with many teachers using both languages whenever possible. Session descriptions will indicate the primary language to help you plan your experience.

The festival offers fresh vegetarian meals inspired by Indian cuisine. Vegan and special dietary options will be available on special request.

Depending on ticket availability, one-day passes may be offered. However, we encourage participants to experience all three days to fully enjoy the festival programme, community activities, and cultural experiences.
